The Snug House is our fully renovated, 17th century guest house, 70m2 (753 sq ft) - with a spacious front and back yard - located on our 4.5 hectare property in Eyraud-Crempse-Maurens, and entirely private in both its interior space and outdoor surroundings. The Snug House is a 10 minute drive to Bergerac and an hour from Bordeaux and its wine country.
A stay at our 17th century guest home, The Snug House, in keeping with its original architecture, is completely unique and allows you to deeply disconnect from your busy life. Make breakfast in your spacious kitchen on the Smeg stove, enjoy your coffee out in your private garden (both front and back yard), and then it’s up to you - enjoy a walk through the countryside to meet our neighboring cows and sheep or drive into the charming city of Bergerac (10 minutes by car) for dining, shopping and sight-seeing in this ancient city. Bordeaux is an hour and ten minutes from here, and invites wine tasting and Michelin dining. After a day your way, retire to your cozy bedroom and private gardens to relax, enjoy the country scenery and get some well-deserved sleep.

Snug House can accommodate up to two guests with one queen sized bed, fresh, 100% linen sheets, and we are happy to host your pets as well! The Snug House has Wifi and a separate, dedicated office so it makes the perfect getaway for remote workers looking to enjoy the French lifestyle. You will be able to park one vehicle in a dedicated parking space and have your own set of keys to access the gated front of Snug House. Your home is distanced from the main maison so you will experience total privacy. During your stay feel free to make use of the wood burning stove (wood is free of charge and offered for your entire stay) as well as the fully furnished kitchen and washing machine. If you have any questions on how to use the stove, your hosts will always be just a message away and happy to help with anything you need. All we ask is that you treat your space with the same care you would for your own home.
