Summary: The house was as if it had been someone's home, not specifically designed as a rental property, but that made it feel homely. Overall the facilities were good and there was everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning in the lounge and main bedroom was really appreciated as the temperature reached 39oC so it was the only way to keep ourselves and the dog cool! Unfortunately, due to the heat, we were unable to take advantage of the terrace, which had nice views of the hills opposite. Having use of the garage was a benefit, in order to park the car nearby and out of the direct sun.We found the area interesting, with the dam, aqueducts, reservoirs and salt rivers. We also liked the small, quiet town of El Grado. The bar/shop was useful and the people there were very friendly. Also, as the house doesn't have wifi, we were able to access this at the bar.We would have done a lot more walking to explore the area had it not been so unexpectedly hot, but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless. Eroilda is a lovely lady who was very good at communicating, both prior to, and during our stay. Our check-in and check-out were straightforward and Eroilda was patient with my attempts at Spaish! Thank you Eroilda for allowing us to enjoy some of our holiday in your peaceful house.
