The charming woodland farmhouse, accommodates 2 people ,1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen, dining room and lounge is situated in the Sierra Bermeja Natural Park and is sat on a rocky ridge amidst trees of olive and oak. There is good access off the tarmacked road, but a very rural location.
A perfect idyllic hideaway, described by many guests as “ Heaven on earth” is the ideal place for discerning adults who are searching for somewhere a little bit different and secluded, where they can chill out and relax and just be at one with nature but with all the comforts of modern day living. The spotless interior and it's sunny decor immediately make you feel like you are on holiday, a very quiet spot with incredible views, and is the perfect base to explore and enjoy all the fruits the Genal Valley has to offer.
Finca” Aldea de la Higuera” (Village of the fig tree) is quite unique, being situated in a cork oak forest. There are 3 houses, the one we live in and 2 others, the farm house which can sleep up to 4 people comfortably and an adjacent self-contained cottage which sleeps 2 people. The grounds to the Finca is situated within 40 acres of cork oak forest also belonging to the finca.
There is ample parking next to the property also a beautiful paved area which makes a perfect sun terrace with shady pergola with views of the distant wooded mountains, valleys and rivers. The large infinity pool has a sun terrace and shade with tables, chairs and loungers again with views of wooded mountains.
Genalguacil is the nearest beautiful white village with bars, restaurants and small supermarkets. But mainly renowned for its art gallery and contemporary art adorning the streets, a must for art lovers. . The perfect secluded base for exploring the white villages of the Serrania de Ronda, river valleys, countryside and coastal towns.
