Situated very close to all conveniences, on the wonderful and well known, cobbled street of Carrer Des Call, in the absolute heart of the old town. This street filled with colourful bouganvillias and pretty juliette balconies, leads directly up to the 16th Century church of Santa Maria. From the front door of the house one can look down, through the ancient archway to the sea, no more than 50m away. The house, part of which is more than 500 hundred years old, was lovingly restored in 2007, using quality materials to bring in light and modern comforts, yet at all times, appreciating and respecting its 'old world charm'. Tastefully decorated using a combination of modern and antique furniture, with all original artworks on the walls and much attention paid to character and detail. The house has a spacious feel, with several comfortable living areas throughout the house, including the sitting room and terrace, with its exceptional views of the entire bay of Cadaquès, the church steeple and beyond to the mountains of San Sebastian. There are two hot water tanks, quality appliances throughout, an open fireplace in one of the bedrooms and underfloor heating. A wonderful holiday home for a family or group of friends.
