Summary: The property itself is in a fantastic location, especially if you’re looking to enjoy a peaceful, scenic area with access to great golf and nearby attractions. The rooms were spacious, clean, and relatively newly updated, which made for a comfortable stay overall. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk left a sour impression. I called around 1 PM on the day of arrival to see if there was any possibility of checking in early, as many hotels are happy to accommodate guests if rooms are ready. Instead of a polite response, I was met with rudeness. The woman who answered the phone asked for my name and then sharply said, “I just told you check-in isn’t until 4,” without any courtesy or professionalism. When we arrived, we were initially greeted by a kind gentleman at the front desk, which quickly changed once the same woman I had spoken with earlier jumped into the interaction. She asked for all of our passports, which I provided—except for one of my friends who is a resident of Spain and only had her ID. As I tried to explain, the woman repeatedly talked over me and was unnecessarily rude, creating an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere after hours of travel (we flew in from Miami). Thankfully, the manager, eventually stepped in and helped us sort everything out smoothly. I truly appreciated her professionalism and willingness to resolve the issue. Overall, while the accommodations and location were great except for front desk encounter.
