Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Location was an issue but because of an incorrectly configured Google Maps. My car ended up bogged in an unmade road some distance from the hotel. I managed to get a phone call in to the owner, who came in his own car to rescue me. Both owners David and Mariza were very kind and empathetic and brought hot soup and wine to my wet and cold being (It was raining at the time) The rest of my stay was marked by enthusiastic professionalism and goodwill. The physical property is superb with beautiful wooden fittings, open fireplaces and superb gardens and outdoor features. The room was well equipped and heated.

Negative: The next day the owner David arranged to get my car towed back to the hotel and drove it himself. This should not have happened and he has made arrangements for a permanent fix.

Summary: Wonderful example of hospitality in the hills.
