Positive: The apartment was very clean and is right in the heart of Besalú. The bed was quite comfortable.

Negative: What really bothered us is that one night there were other guests entering our apartment because they got wrong instructions and our door code. I know mistakes can happen but we felt very uncomfortable after that. The host told us the door code could not be changed because their IT people were not available over the weekend. So these people had our door code and there was no way for us to lock our apartment from outside or inside. That's why I would not book this apartment again. Apart from that we also had a bad start because we were supposed to pay more tourist tax than it was said on booking.com. We could figure it out fast with the host. Then we were a bit confused because there is a washing machine but no clothing rack or anything to put the wet clothes on. However, the host brought a clothing rack over when we asked for it. I hope it stays in the apartment. Also issues in my eyes: The apartment lacks of detail and love. It's all the same colour and not much light coming in. It's not soundproof. There was no trash can in the bathroom and also no trash can in the kitchen. There was only one big plastic bag to throw all the rubbish in - very inconvenient and no waste seperation possible. Kitchen is very basically equipped - okay for a day or two but not for longer. No bedside lamps.

Summary: Okayish for 1-2 nights but not more!
